SALON POLICIES
Please read through our policies before choosing to become a client at Lalani.
Your satisfaction is at the forefront of what we do, these policies allow us to maintain an efficient schedule ensuring every client receives the dedicated, high-quality service they deserve, while respecting the time of all our clients. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
NEW CLIENT BOOKINGS
All new clients are required to pay a $60 deposit to secure their first booking. This deposit is non-refundable and will be deducted off the cost of your service on the day. This deposit is transferable to another appointment time within Lalani so long as the changes have been made with more than 48 hours notice. Cancellations/changes within 48 hours of the allocated appointment time, will result in a loss of deposit as well as any additional cancellation fee to cover our time, see our cancellation policy for more detail.
For new colour clients, we highly recommend to book a 30 minute pre-appointment consultation service. This consultation allows us to cover all aspects of our services with you, including factors such as your budget, ensuring the right services are selected and appropriate time is allocated should you decide to move forward with an appointment.
We value time, yours and ours, and for this reason this service is charged out at $60. Should you decide you DO NOT wish to proceed with a booking at Lalani, this charge is there to cover our time. However if you DO proceed with an appointment this $60 is redeemable against your service and will be applied to your final bill at the time of service.
Please note; once a consultation service has been carried out, the $60 charge is redeemable for a period of one (1) month from your consult date. Bookings made exceeding this time frame will not be eligible for redemption.
CONFIRMATIONS
At Lalani, we aim to make your experience seamless and stress free. To help you stay on track with your bookings, we send reminders via text 3-5 days prior to your upcoming appointment. We kindly ask you to confirm with a ‘YES’ response 48 hours prior to your booking to secure it, or to let us know if you need to reschedule. Two attempts will be made to follow up clients that have not confirmed, 1 via text and 1 via phone call. If we have not received a response after these attempts, we reserve the right to cancel it to accommodate other clients. Cancellation fees may apply.
LATE ARRIVALS, CANCELLATIONS & MISSED APPOINTMENTS
Your time is important to us, and we work hard to ensure a seamless experience for every client. To help us maintain this standard, we kindly ask for your understanding regarding late arrivals and cancellations.
If you anticipate being more than 10 minutes late, please call the salon as soon as possible. We will always do our best to accommodate you within our schedule. However, in some cases, we may need to make adjustments to your booking, reschedule your appointment to another time or make a booking with another team member. If we’re unable to find a suitable alternative, a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the service cost will apply.
We understand life happens, and plans can change, even with the best intentions.
Should you need to cancel, reschedule or make changes to your appointment, we require 48 hours notice to be given. A cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost will apply where 48 hour notice or less is given. For same-day cancellations, changes or missed appointments, a no-show fee equal to 100% of the service cost will be charged.
You will be required to pay this fee before another appointment can be made.
CHANGES TO BOOKINGS
This includes changes to your appointment, and late arrival adjustments.
At times you may wish to change the service you have scheduled for. For example; you may have booked for a full head of foils but now only need half head, or no longer need a cut with your colour service. Please know that timing is allocated specifically for you, for the services you have booked. A full head foils appointment will have a 4-5 hour time allocation, where as a half head only requires 3-4 hours. To avoid be charged a cancellation of service fee, it is important you notify us with a minimum 48 hours prior to your appointment if any changes are required. This allows us to offer the time you no longer required to clients on our waitlist. Last minute changes, with less then 48 hours notice effect our booking schedule, we are unable to fill this space and a cancellation of service fee will apply. In the circumstance of late arrivals, where adjustments may need to be made to accomodate, for example; being scheduled for half head foils but upon late arrival our time schedule can only accomodate a quarter head, you will still be charged at the full cost of the original appointment booking.
REFUNDS POLICY
At Lalani, our priority is your satisfaction, we strive to make your experience amazing from start to finish. While we do not offer refunds for hair services, we are committed to ensuring you love your results. A thorough consultation with our expert stylists should avoid any miscommunication. However, if you are not 100% happy with your experience, should you have any concerns after leaving the salon, please contact the salon within 7 days of your appointment and we’ll arrange a complimentary revision appointment at a time that works for you.
Please note that this service is free of charge unless it involves additional or new work outside the scope of what was originally discussed and agreed upon during your initial appointment.
For concerns raised beyond 7 days of your appointment, we kindly ask that you book a new colour appointment, which will be charged accordingly.
GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift vouchers can only be purchased to a dollar ($) value, not a service value.
Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash. Change will not offered for any un-redeemed value. Should the full value of the voucher not be redeemed in one booking, the remaining value can be used on another service/s at another time, before the expiry date.
Any gift vouchers that have surpassed the expiry date will not be accepted.
To comply with Australian Consumer Law (ACL), purchased gift vouchers have an expiry of three (3) years from date of purchase.
As per Australian Consumer Law (ACL), the 3-year rule does not apply to donated/given for free, promotional, or discounted vouchers (e.g., a $100 voucher bought for $80). In these circumstances the expiry date will be stipulated on the voucher, this expiry is at the discretion of Lalani.
